A New Kind of Table
We set a plate for you. No membership required, no name tag necessary.
Mayport is a dynamic community — a continual tide of new neighbors, new businesses entering the landscape, also facing rising prices, food insecurity, under-resourced schools, and families stretched thin by deployment. Mayport Open Table is a new worshiping community built around a free community dinner, an easy worship service, and honest conversation about the things neighbors carry.

A community dinner-party, with prayer, readings, and music lightly woven throughout. Easy to enter, easy to belong.
Community
After dinner, everyone will be encouraged to stick around for a curated conversation on our neighborhood, schools, and family life. Kids will get activities and homework help — building a table of belonging and growth, with families supporting one another.

This table is best set with your help. Whatever your gift, there's a place for you:
@ Mayport Science Education Center Backyard Picnic Pavilion, 1347 Palmer Street, Mayport Village
Welcome families and help serve dinner.
Facilitate activities and monthly themes.
Help get the community room ready before and tidy after dinner.
@ Mayport Presbyterian Church, 1300 Palmer Street, Mayport Village
Stock shelves with shelf-stable food for the school weekend meals program.
Fill bags of food for the kids each Thursday.
Help coordinate the family-style meal for each Dinner Party.
All volunteers are invited into a rotating schedule.
